David Kelley

Founder, Chief Intellectual Officer
David Kelley is founder and chief intellectual officer at The Atlas Society. He earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from Princeton University and taught philosophy at Vassar College and at Brandeis University. He founded The Institute for Objectivist Studies, now The Atlas Society, in 1990 to promote the philosophy developed by Ayn Rand in an open and benevolent manner. Among his books are Unrugged Individualism: The Selfish Basis of Benevolence; The Contested Legacy of Ayn Rand; The Evidence of the Senses, The Art of Reasoning, and A Life of One's Own: Individual Rights and the Welfare State.
